Looks like Ciara Miller only found out about West Wilson and Amanda Batula a few days before the rest of us. TMZ reports that the Summer House star was “given a heads up” about Amanda and West hard launching their “connection,” and has “known for at least a day or two that the statement was coming.” Meanwhile, Page Six says that Ciara and Kyle Cooke are “pissed” and “disappointed,” and Ciara already unfollowed both West and Amanda on Instagram.

Reminder that rumors have been circulating about West and Amanda secretly hooking up for weeks, but they tried to play them down. I mean, this was just a few days ago!!!!!!!

Of course, the pair ended up releasing a statement yesterday, saying they didn’t expect what’s “developed recently,” and that their “connection” grew out of friendship. They also said that the situation is “very new” and that “as our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling.”

West and Amanda notably didn’t mention Ciara or Kyle by name in the statement, but did say “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”

Amanda and Ciara have been best friends for years—and Amanda was by Ciara’s side as she navigated her breakup with West—so this is obviously S-H-O-C-K-I-N-G, and begs the question: Will MomTokSummer House survive this?
